Well back in Bris Vegas now just over a week after departing the shores of Tokyo!

A nice surprise sharing the bus journey out to the airport with my friend Miki who was heading out to Sydney around the same time. Was fitting that we had our own green tea cermony with mochi cream. As I slipped on my compression socks, blew up my U shaped pillow for the 8.5 hour journey ahead. Luckily had a seat spare between me in the aisle row for the multiple trips to the bathroom. Managed to get a little shut eye before being welcomed back by me Dadz at the airport.

A world away from life in Tokyo, out at my parents home by the seaside. Enjoying the tranquil surrounds, but the seclusion is world apart from hub bub of Akasaka.

First trip to visit my new OBGYN went well, funny Dr who looks like more like a rolly polly santa claus than specialist. Very different style to Dr Sakamoto but so far so good. At 30 weeks already, routine blood tests gestational diabetes have been keeping me running back and forth drinking sugary substances and feeling like a pin cushion.

Have got back behind the wheel after nearly three years, not really much choice. Having an increasing conscious about using the car to run errands and constantly using water (drought), must be that I am home and about to sprout a member of the new generation.

Hey Sweetie,

I am glad that you're enjoying your time with mum and dad; and all the sunshine. I am jealous :-( Dr. Claus sounds delightful. Will send you a longer email soon.

Kisses,
Z.
