Christmas has come a little early for us this year with the White family celebrating today allowing a few of us to go to other family/inlaws places on the 25th.

A lovely day afternoon spent with drinks on the balcony followed by a family roast dinner. After a big sleep in we all managed to surface for a White brother's gourmet breakfast -yummm!

This week was Adz first week back from Tokyo. We are now staying out at his Mum's place in Scarborough until we get our unit cleaned up to move into. Adjusting to the slower pace of life means we are noticing more than anything the distances required to travel everywhere especially since both of our families are are at least 30km from the centre of town. Also, the laid back aussie lifestyle, big shopping malls and abundance of large quantities of food in supermarkets. Living in Japan we are now used to small spaces, small people, smaller quantities.
