Merry time

It feels like we have been celebrating Christmas for weeks with most weekends filled up with end of year Christmas parties, concerts,  and festivities. The Woo's Christmas gathering, Hana's Nutcracker ballet concert, Baby Oliver's christening party, Adam's birthday party celebrations, Carols in the Park, Kindy Graduation and our Work Christmas Parties.
Experiencing the wonderment of this time is amplified with children. Last night, we went to the city to watch the pantomime parade on the Queen Street Mall. The girls were in awe of the nativity, roaming elves, Santa with reindeers and a sleigh. We dragged daddy along to DJ's for a photo with Santa but in his absence had to improvise with a softer stand in.
I still remember going to the Lions Club in Rochedale and seeing Santa coming down the street on a sleigh for the first time. Lasting memories of the festive season.
