Today is Adam's birthday and a chance for us to express to him how grateful we are for his presence. Adam being the bright, steadfast, positive minded person that he is I feel so fortunate to have in our lives. The celebrations this year started early in the week with a night out to see U2 in concert with our friends Andy and Eva. A welcome chance for us to get out at night and see our first live performance in a while. U2 didn't disappoint opening with `A beautiful day' and playing the old faves, `with or without you' and `where the streets have no name' (Adam's request). Our usually tame suburb came alive when the U2 spaceship landed in Paddington and the weather God kept the rain at bay.

Today we enjoyed breakfast at Salt with the girls with Noa giggling away as Adam bounced her up and down on his knee. Hana and I baked banana yogurt muffins for birthday afternoon tea with Ross and Barb. Then we all headed out for a spot of tennis next door as Hana diligently became the best little ball girl. She is just the right height to be darting across the middle of the court while balls are flying overhead. Picking up balls, popping them in the tin and then throwing them to us  upon request. Afterwards, we all enjoyed a barbeque and birthday drinks on the balcony.
