Potty Ba
Little Miss has been aware of what's been going on for some time now, often telling us when it is time for a nappy change. Not wanting to rush the potty thing we introduced the concept through a little story about a mischevious Bear called `On Your Potty Ba' as well as a traditional potty a while ago. However, it was more a game to her sitting on it and hopping off at her freewill so we delayed the training until she was ready.
After a couple of close calls while away and couple of not so secure attempts on the toilet, we have purchased a new step Bambino toilet seat that sits over a regular toilet. It arrived yesterday c/- of Poppy Woo, assembled and set up much to the delight of Hana who couldn't wait to try it out. Big smiles all round as she sat happily perched up reading books and harping for me to, `go out'. On and off a few times, she sat...... then a big smile as she weeeeeeed for the first time on her new throne.

Go Hana go! Mama Neenz, you must share with me the secrets to a successful potty training (apart from lots of patience I'm sure). Looking forward to reading more about Hana's adventures as she turns TWO soon!
Hi mama Zai, no secrets my dear. I read that if they have their pants off and everytime you can see they are about to go, you quickly move them to the potty. It's tiring work, cleaning up all the spills and then if you are going out. Not to mention your poor furniture ;-) We have been a bit half arsed so think we will be on hold for a while.
I think I will give it ago this summer when Nikola can go around the flat bare bummed and Gamma's around to help :-)
