A very White family Christmas holiday
Hobart turned on the sunshine and warm weather for us this holiday season. Christmas Day was a fun occasion with the little Whities unravelling their many gifts under the tree and our faces lighting up as they opened them. We enjoyed a roast lunch basking outdoors to the rhythm of funky tunes and the Moet flowing. With Henry's other cousins joining us there was much activity in the later part of the day while we continued to bask....
A leisurely holiday based in the heart of Hobart with everything in walking distance. The boys getting out to ride every morning, the girls doing the shopping march, swimming at the aquatic centre, walks to nearby parks and gorgeous gardens, all the while kiddies loving being surrounded by all the family. Hana and Henry's bond continues to blossom - jammin sessions on the keyboard, building and destroying their high block towers and crawling chasey in the hallway. Some of Hana's favorite sayings, `Henry boy', `Rock `n' roll Henry George', `it's mine!' and `oh sorr-y'.
New Years Eve, another gorgeous steamy afternoon with all the crew (with the added arrival of James & Sarah) over more fine wines, barbeque and funky tunes. As the early 9pm fireworks started up, a storm was brewing over Mt Wellington which provided the perfect backdrop as we sat down to eat and reflect on the year gone.
Followed by us youngies, hitting club T42 on the waterfront while the boys dabbled in hard cocktails and the girls sipped Mojitos with a watchful eye ;-) Stepping off the dancefloor we had the most awesome view of the fireworks that were shooting out from a boat just in front of us. Really has to be one of the best NYE I've had close to all the action without all the usual crazy crowds.
NY recovery, we had 3 nights out at Bicheno a quiet seaside township, a couple of hours north of Hobart. With the 10 of us, staying in a 4 bedroom house by the beach we enjoyed a peaceful kickback at Harvey Farm Lodge where the only farmy thing was the two goats (or sheep as pointed out by Pop White) in the neighbouring property. But, on the drive home we visited a berry and stonefruit farm where the girls picked yummy boysenberries, strawberries, logan berries straight from the branches. Hana was in heaven frolicking amoungst the many vines eating till her hearts content.

Thank you Whites of Tas!! Rock n roll Hen! XXOXX
