Sweltering heat forced us out of our air conditioned flat to the east coast shores of Tokyo. Just one hour drive away, we headed towards Kamakura Beach to a small cove beach called Hayama which we had heard was a nice little family type beach if you want get away from the masses. Well, we were in for a rude shock to find every car park was jam packed along with every square inch of black sand. It seemed like the whole beach had be taken over by the masses, with beach chairs, mats, tee pees, beach balls and floating devices. Wow!
The water wasn't the most pristine, but hell wasn't half bad cooling down and watching the hive of activity.
Managed to catch up on some pregnancy reading too ;-)
