While in a toy shop, Hana was busy playing with all the noisy button toys on display until a baby doll in a stroller caught her eye. She immediately went over to it and starting taking it in and out of the stroller. Picking it up, grabbing it, moving it around and finally pushing her around in the stroller. So funny to see our little baby role playinig.
I find it so fascinating that small toddlers come up to Hana and recognise that she's a baby. They often point and say,`baby' or just seem happy to observe her every move. At orientation for kindy the Nursery Group Leader was saying that one little 15 month old, often goes up to the small babies and copies what they do with the babies ie. pushes them in the rocker, pats them on the back and even checks the side of their nappies.
So yesterday, it was particularly entertaining for us, watching Hana playing with my cabbage patch kid putting her in her sleep basket, plonking her on the ground, carrying her all over the nursery and even putting her on the playmat to music.

You know what that means, don't you? She's ready to be a BIG SISTER! ;-) I always see little toddlers pushing mini strollers with dolls or teddies in them and often wonder why? How's the nursery going for her?
