Everyday, we are priviledged enough to be part of our baby's life as she grows day by day. Seeing Hana move about and gain independence we are having to face the reality that our little baby is fast becoming a toddler. My idea of toddler was always that terrible two tantrum chucking kid at the supermarket. But, having only just come to the realisation that in fact we are literally only weeks away from this stage. Already starting to see signs of the inevitable, eg throwing anything from finger food (the once loved banana now gets squished and tossed), toys (loud hard ones are best), sippy cup (now fastened safely to the high chair). This game is especially fun when we go out and wait staff are kept busy picking up stuff. Screwing her nose up at food and zipping her lips when I try to feed her. And most recently sitting up in her cot or better still lifting up to standing come rest time. Quickly consulting sleep literature learning that this can be combated with `the lay down approach'ie when you put them down to sleep, they get up so you lie them back down again. And of course they sit up again so you just keep lying them down up to 40 times! Hana thought this was quite a fun game and after about 5 times, I couldn't see the fun in it. Instead, took her for a walk in the pram and after that she was thankful for a lie down in her cot. Phew!

Quite an active little princess you got there! Makes me anxious for our little bubs to join on the outside. Hana has such a delightful little face that keeps coming more and more into blossom with each month. BTW - what is your postal address?
