We are here in Tassie for 12 days hanging out with the Abz and Nath. Lots of hills around to stroll to admire all the beautiful old homes and colorful gardens. Having already sussed out the local cafe scene both around goulburn street and salamanca, sampling all the delights this place is famous for (poached salmon for breakfast and tea). Learning fast that the weather is so changeable from sunshine, to harrowing winds and rain. You really have to go prepared for it all. We have been caught a couple of times out in blustery conditions with a crying baby who is accustomed to warm sunny strolls in the pram. Keeping the walks close to shelter is a good idea.
The boys completed a the Hobart ride leading the 100km ride which was described as the most challenging yet (killer hill climb after climb as well as those strong winds).
Our little one is enjoying the new surrounds. The first time I put her down on the carpet she seemed to magically move across to the other side of the room backwards?!! She does a push up then manages to glide across the floor like a caterpillar. Figure it's the carpeted floor as well as the excited audience egging her on. With family coming and going as well as Hana's expectant Aunt and Uncle eager to play you come to really appreciate raising children amongst extended family.
