All that drooling while I chow down on breakfast, lunch or dinner made me realise that perhaps it was time to introduce Hana to the world of food.

Well actually the first taste of food came unexpectedly last Sunday while we were out at Anouk cafe. With bub bordering on hunger, Nanny Barbie suggested giving Hana some our organic yogurt with stewed rhubarb and pear. Once the first taste made contact with her mouth, her fingers, thumbs and hands went straight in her mouth while she sucked away every last morsel. She must have thought her hands have never tasted so delicious as she soon drifted off to sleep still sucking like mad.

So during the week decided to start feeding Hana solids. As suspected she is a gobble guts. Although, most of the 2 teaspoons of rice cereal, or pureed fruit/vegetable ends up all over her face and hands she sure is fun to watch as she discovers new tastes. She hasn't quite worked out how to keep it her mouth without shoving her hands in her mouth (perhaps she is still searching for that rhubarb pear yogurt).

Oh, lovely! This must be an exciting time for her as she discovers different tastes.

How time flies; it seems like it was only yesterday that I received her birth announcement. Now she's already on solids!

They do grow up too fast, don't they?

Kisses to you and sweet Hana.
