Seems like my birthday has come early as we adjust to parenthood as we all learn the way for our new journey together. Today tops the end of Baby Hana's first week which has been one of round the clock 3-4 hourly interval feeds ( thankfully she has taken to the breastfeeding like a duck to water). We ventured out at 6pm for our first walk in her Phil & Ted pram. Took an hour stroll from home to around the grounds of University of Queensland at sunset. Such a beautiful afternoon and I really couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday
than with my little family + baby makes 3.
Each day Adam and I are discovering something new about her eg. that she likes having her hands near her face, but swaddling hushes her to sleep. A little smile after a feed is probably just wind, but looks cute nonetheless. Like when she is asleep, she can sleep through any noise including the neighbours heavy metal beats at 1.30am. And that `nappy off time' should always have a back up nappy/lining (always).
